Why would you want to do this?
You have an older GPS units which does not accept a Plug & Play SD card, you have installed the T4A GPS Maps to your MAC and now you want to transfer the maps to your GPS.
Connect your Garmin GPS Unit to your MAC via USB cable.
Uninstall any previous T4A GPS Maps from your GPS unit. (See steps here)
STEP A #
Open MapInstall / BASECAMP that you installed, and transfer the maps to your GPS.
Via MapInstall: (Recommended option) #
Summary Steps:
- Select Device (ie. Choose device to install maps on (ie. internal GPS memory or SD Card))
- Click ‘Customize’
- Select map to transfer to GPS unit by clicking on tick box to the right of map names
- Click ‘Send Map’
- Click ‘Confirm’
- Click ‘Done’
Transfer T4A Maps to GPS using a Mac:
Via BASECAMP: #
Summary Steps:
- In Menu: Goto ‘Transfer’
- Click ‘Send my Collection’
- Select Device
- Click ‘Send Maps with MapInstall’ (ie. this will initialize MapInstall – follow steps in section above here for installing with MapInstall)
