Understand File Access Limitations
If your device runs on Android, your Mac will not display it as a drive on the desktop. As a result, you cannot access the device’s internal files directly.
Prepare for Map Transfer
Since internal file access is restricted, you will need to use an SD card to transfer the downloadable map.
Purchase the Correct SD Card
To proceed, purchase an SD card with at least 4GB of storage. This is the minimum recommended size for successful map installation.
After you purchase your map, you will immediately receive step-by-step instructions. These will guide you through transferring and installing it with your SD card.

We like to travel the backroad of the country and T4A regional maps are impressive with the amount of detail that you get like low water bridge, gate close, picnic spot etc. For instance on the road to the Tankwa National Park it says “Tyre failure” and I did get a puncture. For me the regional maps are a must if you want to make dust when traveling.

Not quite as good as the Garmin topographic map I bought for my Garmin Nuvi in 2010 but a reasonable substitute, it looks like Garmin now only offers these type of maps for their hand held devices. The service from T4A is fantastic, I have just renewed my subscription!
